An AC motor can be an electric electric motor driven by an alternating electric current (AC). The AC electric motor commonly contains two basic parts, an outside stator having coils supplied with alternating current to produce a rotating magnetic field, and an inside rotor mounted on the output shaft making another rotating magnetic field. The rotor magnetic field may be produced by permanent magnets, reluctance saliency, or DC or AC electrical windings.
Single-Phase AC Induction Motors & Gear Motors
AC induction motors are optimal for uni-directional and continuous operation such as a conveyor system. All you have to is for connecting a capacitor and plug the electric motor into an AC power and the motor can be easily operated.
