If your application involves severe shock loads or feasible housing damage from external sources (as in steel mills or mobile devices applications) Ever-Power can provide fabricated steel housings with up to 48″ center distances. Fabricated housings provide maximum rigidity and strength that allows the transmission of higher horsepower levels than are feasible with regular cast iron products. Extra heavy part plates connect the worm and gear shaft bearing supports, assuring proper meshing of the gear under all load conditions. In smaller sized sizes, fabricated steel worm gear reduer reducers are interchangeable with Ever-Power regular cast iron reducers.
