single sprockets

A planetary gearbox sprocket is a wheel with the teeth, cogs, or even sprockets that mesh with the holes in the links of chain, track, or other perforated materials. A sprocket differs from a gear because a sprocket by no means meshes straight with another sprocket. Sprockets are made to be utilized with a particular chain. Selecting the most appropriate sprocket optimizes sprocket/chain interaction, ensures drive overall performance, and decreases maintenance.
